Meet the Horses

Picture
Remy is a 13.2h Welsh cross gelding. He is our go-to pony for lessons. He is great with beginners, but has the ability to go Beginner Novice cross country.  A fun pony!

Hamish is a 12.2 hand Welsh/Haflinger cross: he's good with little kids but sturdy enough for a little older child. He is an experienced trail pony, too!

Roscoe is a 12.2 h pony cross (bay roan pintaloosa) that is great for lead line lessons, or when a small child is ready to move up to a more athletic mount.

Perry is a 15.1 hand Thoroughbred. He is a horse to practice your balance on.  He has been a fabulous horse for all levels of rider. His canter is very smooth, and he's getting his groove on in the jumper ring.

Marshall is a thoroughbred that has quickly become a farm favorite. His height makes him great for riders of all sizes and his slow speed is beginner friendly.

Gulliver is a 16.1 h thoroughbred that is quiet for all types of riders on the flat and over fences.

Tango is a 13.3 h pinto pony great for advancing riding skills on. He has plenty of go and scope for jumping fences!

Dax is a 15 h Akhal-Teke/Morgan cross that we use for dressage lessons.

Kip is a 16 h throroughbred that has been coming along in the program. He is currently jumping small verticals and learning lateral aids.

2Cleo is a fun little 14.2 h Appaloosa cross mare that has started jumping 2' recently. She's good for more sensitive riders.

Dinah is a 14.3h Arab/Saddlebred cross that is a speedy but steady ride for those that like it a little quicker! Her dressage is not her strong suit, but she has plenty of scope for jumps.

Peanut is a 14.3 Appaloosa/thoroughbred cross with dressage and jump training.  She's good for learning basic lateral movements once one is at the intermediate level.
